Lee Payne

Director of Client Services

Born and raised in Alabama, Lee spent his early years as a Boy Scout and rock climber. He received his BA in communications from the University of Colorado, where he also acquired firsthand marketing experience, serving as Red Bull North America’s student brand manager for the 30,000 student campus in Boulder. His passion for climbing, along with his excellent marketing communications skills, led him to create one of the Web’s best sites for the professional climbing community back in 1999—a site that is still in use today. When he wasn’t online or on a rock face, he was writing for national climbing publications or adding to his personal blog.

Since joining rabble+rouser, Lee has played a pivotal role serving as the interface between the company’s clients and its technical and design teams. Lee is a driven achiever that always strives to put the client first. His experience working with both CMOs and CTOs, gives him a unique ability to help our clients develop effective marketing programs that leverage technology for maximum impact. Lee is especially proud of his work on Denver’s Campaign to End Homelessness, which netted a Reader’s Digest 2008 “Best of America” award.
