Chris Armijo Named rabble+rouser Interactive Creative DirectorPosted by christina in Our Team

Chris Armijo joined us last August as interactive art director. Prior to this position, Chris served as principal Web designer at ManiaTV! Network, the first live Internet television network, where he played an integral role in defining the company’s online presence. Chris also served as principal Web designer at Fusionbox, Inc., a Denver-based Web design firm, where he designed Web sites for a variety of clients. In addition to his Web design experience, Chris has taught college-level courses in lithography, intaglio, and relief printmaking techniques.

Chris obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design where he was named Presidential Scholar. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Mexico, a Master Printer’s Certificate from Tamarind Institute, and a Collegiate Teaching Certificate from Brown University’s Sheridan Learning Center.

In his new role, Chris will be responsible for building and managing our Web team, and leading the creation of innovative Web projects for our growing list of clients. We are very happy to have such a talented (and all-around great guy) on board.

Be sure to ask him about his recent gallery opening, which included innovative light fixtures made from clothes pins, paper clips, and whiffle balls. Brilliant!
